OATMEAL WITH APPLE'S
Oatmeal is a great way to start the day...
Ingredients
1 cup water
1/2 cup oatmeal
3 tablespoons of Apples (diced)
1/2 tablespoon chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Cooking
Combine the water and oatmeal in a small saucepan.
Add the diced apple and cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat for 7 minutes. Stir in the walnuts.
Spoon into a serving dish, sprinkle with the brown sugar. Serve warm.
Variation: Use your favorite fruit. Just dice it up and go!
