Arizona vacation ideas are easy to come by because Arizona is full of great adventure.

From the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff's forested mountains to the rugged mountain ranges of southern Arizona and the remains of the Old West.

Landscapes captivate the imagination and show you the soul of the Wild West.

Arizona's capital city of Phoenix sprawls and combines with more than 6 other surrounding cities to form the "Valley of the Sun".

The area is an oasis of experiences, ranging from world-class resorts, spas, shopping and golf courses, to renowned restaurants and a vibrant nightlife.

Old West and Native American history, hiking and other outdoor activities can be had in the more than 300 days of sunshine each year.

Southern Arizona hosts a variety of Astronomical Observatories, which study everything from the Sun and Planets, to the Stars, Solar Systems and Beyond.

The river areas and imaginatively rugged mountain ranges rank among the world's best bird watching sites.

A Wet and Wild "West Cost"

Arizona's "West Coast" was and is still being formed by the mighty Colorado River and it truly is the new Wet and Wild West.

You will find more water-based activities than you can handle, cliffs, other natural wonders and habitats protecting the wildlife along the river.

Then there is the opportunity to explore Native American cultures, purchase local artwork and eat delicious regional cuisine. There is also a variety of Native American communities and the London Bridge.

Arizona makes a perfect getaway for visitors who want to relive the past with Arizonas old west towns.  Great photography can be had out there so take your camera, some water, sunscreen and bathing suit!
